Disappear for a while

Dear all of you, sorry for not showing up for a long time. Really, hardly to find an internet connection in Australia, big cities are not problems, but not very common in some towns.

Well, more or less the same as before, but work less now and enjoy to life here, I just had a jetski last Friday, so exciting, but get into water twice... Sick now, got a fever, and after having pills, feel much better la.

In this month, I have been to Melbourne too, very old city, I really don't like it, so boring, only interesting thing is going to watch penguin in Philips Island. So cute..... Others, no good la....

I may have to stay here for a while coz I have to wait for someone to come, and join them to play for a couple of weeks.

Hope all you guys are alright and have fun in HK too. Try to update myself more oftenly...

P.S. Forgot one thing, I have moved my accommodation again, this time very far from the restaurant, so sad....

Finally I can find the connection for me to post my update news!!!

I have moved to another place, there is no internet connection. That's why I cannot update all of you my news.....

It is very difficult to say what happened here. There are not so many Chinese here, but they are troublesome. I don't know how to say, but in 2 weeks, there are a lot of people leaving here. Sometimes, I do want to escape from this situation.

But in the past few days, I have been to Gold Coast for fun, it is very beautiful, a very good place for living, I love that place. During that time, I stayed at my boss's house, which is very huge, with swimming pool and tennis court. haha...... He is very nice, really.

And this is the moment for me to think of the next stop, I may go to Cairns, or stay in Maroochydore for a while. After living here for 2 months, I still do not think I am a backpacker. haha, coz I even have not put my backpack on my back during my travel.....

I have a lot of unforgettable memories here, I don't know how to share here, just like a tale, hope I can have time to share to all of you...... Thanks God I meet a lot of friends here, and have a chat to different people. They are so nice.

Sorry, guys, I have not updated my news these days, as I am watching some Korean Series, Japanese Series and Taiwanese Series these days.

I will go to Gold Coast next week, from 8/21-8/24, I am now so exciting. I will go with a friend and will stay at my Boss's House if possible. (Haha, if I can do so to save some money) Really want to have some days relax, rest after working for a month. Just remind myself I am here for holiday also, not only for work.... so just spend $$ and have fun.

Sigh!! Really, a lot of things happened these days.
- New restaurant caught a fire and all people came back yesterday. (all people are safe, no hurt)
- Originally I will move to new place to live, but now, the house was sold out, they need to find another place......
- Some people are coming, and some people are leaving......
- Relationship between 2 restaurants are getting worse......

haha, finally watched the movie la, a little bit disappointed, because there is no ending, and I have to wait the next movie to finish the whole story next year.
AUD8.5, about 2.5 hr.

Meeting different people in Japanese Restaurant, Japanese, Korean and Australian, who worked there..... Haha, there are so many Japanese who found boyfriends during their study, then will stay behind by applying Working Holiday Visa.

Go to another Church - Uniting Church

I went to another Church yesterday, the service time is much earlier, 8.30am. In fact, the worship is similar to what we have in Hong Kong, but in here, the paster/ministor will lead the worship only.

Yes, most of them are the elderly, but they are very nice, we have a morning tea after, I talked with some ladies, and I think I will go to this Church every Sunday if I am still in Maroochydore.

Already worked in few days in new restaurant, well, more or less the same as before, but need more independent, as no one will guide you to do anything.

Wow, I have already been Australia for 3 weeks la..... Start to get used to the life here. Looking forward having fun in next stop.

Change to Another Restaurant to Work

Before the stuff about the title, I must tell you where I went on 7/19, I got on a bus and went to Eumundi market, then to Noosa Heads, in fact, this was the first time I was off and walked around in Maroochydore. Back to Restaurant about 6:30p.m., and received a message that, because the Japanese restaurant needs people, and the bosses of both restaurant are friends, so they asked me to work in a new restaurant.....

Yesterday was my first day working in that restaurant, busy day, all stuff need to be quick and accurate. Need to remember the menu and price again....... sigh...... Frankly specking, the guys at Japanese restaurant were not very good, and lots of part-time staff. Hope everything goes fine.

Bad Day!!

Originally I went to pick strawberries today. A day before, I bought my breakfast and lunch. I got up early in the morning, 6:00 a.m. and got on the car, picked another girl and went straight to the strawberry farm. As I have not gone there before, and we did not notified the farm host, when we arrived and signed the name, they said there are many people today, not enough tray for strawberry picking, go home.... and we did not notify them before turn up.

We have 2 girls gone there before, and only working for 1 day, and never turn up, for another day, my friends bring in another boy, who worked for only 2 hours and left. The host is very unhappy with that, so they did not allow us (me and one Japanese girl) to work there without notification.

For me, it is still okay, so I have a day off to walk around the town, take some rest...... but it seems that we leave a bad impression to farm host.

Still thinking where I should go today...........

Go to pick Strawberry on Wed lu

Hi everybody, I will go to strawberry farm this Wednesday, my boss lets me go to gain some experience and fun from it, well, my friends just worked from that farm and said very harsh, bending the body whole day (8 hours). After working a day, they said they will not do it again... But anyway, I will go there to do 1 or 2 days, as it is a valuable experience for me......

Haha, today I walked around and went to a place where people bet the horse racing and enjoyed a free coffee there, afterward I went to Cotton Tree Park, just beside Maroochy River. So beautiful, I stopped there and prayed for Chi Wai (Today is his birthday) and my family. So beautiful and peaceful there.

Believe it or not, I saw 4 people (Australian I think) were playing "麻雀", so amazing........

Still thinking if I should go to see movie tomorrow "Pirate of Carribbean: Death Man's Chest" as I have to get up very early in next day.

July - work hard in Chinese Restaurant, nowhere to go, earn more $$
Aug - start to go around Sunshine coast, have already picked some places that I must go (The Big Pineapple, Austrila Zoo, Underwater World, etc...), now find information how to get there.
Sep - As promised the boss, will work until Sep, as the Chef will leave in Mid Aug, they do not want too many people leaving at the same time, but will prepare to go to pick Strawberries.

Then, go to Gold Coast la, spend few days there and will go to Cairn or elsewhere....

Finally arrived in Sunshine Coast, it is a very beautiful places. There are many beaches, and the life is so relaxing, people are very nice here, haha, after discussing with my boss yesterday, I will stay here for 3 months ....

Yesterday was my first day working in here, being a waitress. Not so very tired, but the most challenging thing is how to serve the customer in English. Lunch time, it is still okay for me, as we have buffet lunch. But during the dinner period, customer will order food from the menu. The problem is when they asked me what ingredient inside the dishes, hehe, I don't know really, sometimes, I even don't know how to name the dishes. Learning a lot of vocabulary here. Of course, I meet a lots of local people and people from New Zealand la.....

Today, the other 3 working holiday makers will go to Gold Coast to continue to their journey. And I am still not quite familiar with this job. A little bit nervous, only 1 waitress in the restaurant, it's me. haha.....

I am still looking for a Church nearby.... Pray for me.

Blue Mountains

Get up very early today, as I joined a day tour to Blue Mountains. We gathered at somewhere at 7.20, and then we got on the coach heading to Blue Mountains.

The first stop, we are going to see Kangaroo. They are so cute. Male one is bigger. And the Guide said the original meaning of Kangaroo is " I don't understand".

After we have a short morning tea break, we started our long bushwalking time. We went up and down in the mountains. The Guide explained different kinds of plant to us. Really, this tour is better for students and youth, as it did so many walking. I didn't expect that, but it is still okay for me.

Lunch included for the tour, haha, just like the picnic we have in primary school, went to riverside and had a little bread, pasta and salad.

Afterwards, we had a little bit more walking down to the valley, and took the tram back up the hill.

Well, it is very difficult to say it is good or not, if for mum and dad, it is really no good. But anyway, it worths AUD 85,- (HKD510)

Keep walking around Sydney

I went to Church this morning, named Central Baptism, to have a Cantonese Worship time. For me, it is very good, as I promised myself, I must go to Church every Sunday, no matter where I am. And it is a good start for me. Hope it will carry on for the rest of my journey.

I keep "walking" around in Sydney today, after 2 days walking, my feet were very tired. I need more rest today as I will join a day tour to Blue Mountains tomorrow. Maybe it is Sunday, many agents are closed, I went to the visitor information centre, the staff is so helpful in answering questions. And I also checked 1 agent before booking the tour. The cost is not the cheapest, but it is still okay for me, as it is lunch included, I think I have not had normal meals for the past few days.

*** When I went to Church this morning, a guy gave me a little leaflet, I took a look, which is a leaflet of Jehovah's witnesses. I did not expect there was a guy standing outside the Central station, giving out the leaflet to everyone passing by. I was so impressed that even in Sydney, I still saw the trails of Johovah's witnesses. ***

Opera House and Sydney Bridge

I left the hostel very early today, at that time, I was still thinking where I should go, I did not know how to take the bus, so I just walked from my hostel to The Rocks, I thought I kept walking for more than a hour. At there, I took many photos of Sydney Bridge and Opera House, which are famous. Spent lots of time to walk, very tired, and do not know where I should go, so I bought "Daytripper" - one day pass, got on the ferry and went to Manly, the northern part of Sydney.

Beautiful Beach, many people are surfing, playing volleyball, suntanning, etc. so relexing, and it is totally different from Central Sydney. It is also because of the Daytripper, I took so many public transportation as many as possible.

=.= I took the wrong bus to the residential area in Manly.

And now I forget to bring my room key, so just stay outside of my room, in front of the computer and wait for the staff to come back.

First Day in Sydney

Arrive at Sydney la ~~~

I only slept for 2 hours on plane, the meals were so bad. Go straight to the hostel, not very good indeed, but they have upgrade my bed to the room with bathroom inside, it is okay for me. Meet a Korean girl, and she speaks English quite well.

Then I go out and finish all the stuff I planned to do:
1- Buy SIM card, so troublesome, need a lot of information to activate the card
2- Open bank account, it is also troublesome, I have been in Bank for more than 1 hours I think.
3- Get the WHV label.
4- Find the church

And Sydney, for me, is like Hong Kong, so many people walking around, with different nationality, especially there are so many Chinese here, even I go to the shops, once they knew I am from Hong Kong, they talk to me in Cantonese.

For me, there are not many places I am willing to look around. Maybe I need to have some more time to read the leaflet and decide where I should go.

多謝大家連續3個星期的farewell lunch, tea and dinner及禮物！！

要飛嚕，9個月後再見大家！(可能會早d，但一定不會長過9個月)

我會先在sydney停4日，再去queensland的sunshine coast，附上地圖一張。

決定再上路

發生事之後，我不停的問自己，要出發嗎？其實自己也知道答案，但是，我也問媽媽，我應該這個時候遠行嗎？她回答說，家裡的事情，你不用擔心，只管去吧，若然到了那兒，能適應下來，就多住一點時間，如真的不能習慣，就不要勉強，回家吧！

所以，我的決定：按原定計劃去吧！

另一個片段，在早上和父母上茶樓時，爸問我是幾點的飛機，他打算送機，本來媽說，若然志威送我到機場，她就不去了，心想家裡應沒有人會送機吧，但想不到……爸會有這機的決定。

今日收到一個消息，很突然，不知所措！

心情有點複雜…

我是否要更改行程？
我是否要放棄不要出發？
還是提早點回來？

帶著期望的離開，很想去經歷、體驗生活更多…
但是家中出了點事情，沒理由依然故我，忍心出發，

留下，是否代表我可以解決問題？
離開，是否代表我對家人置之不理？

越來越發覺，家人信主的逼切性……禱告、禱告、再禱告……

還有10天就出發了，回想過去幾個月，上帝的恩典不斷！

1) 申請visa，非常順利，照肺後兩天就approve了。感恩！
2) 家人沒有反對，向家人講述時非常順利。感恩！
3) 教會中的事奉能有妥善安排，有志威協助，肥達暫代崗位。感恩！
4) 辭職過程順利，還能讓我一直工作，幫補一部份支出，感恩！
5) 買到直航機票，價錢okay，感恩！
6) 未出發已找到工作，可讓父母安心。感恩！
7) 在收拾過程中，有肢體相助，解決很多難題，感恩！
8) 在farewell中，發覺自己有很多好友。感恩！
9) 更感受父母的愛護，感恩！

安息禮拜後感

沒想到這樣久才記下自己的感受，如果不記下來，又怕自己會忘記，因為已忘記的事情確實很多了！

星期五晚上出席了一個好友父親的安息禮拜，沒有太多的傷感，當時唯一觸動我心的，是好友父親一直不適，自己竟然全不知曉，才驚覺我們這群人之間的友情還停留在許多年前大家都少不更事的階段，只會嘻嘻哈哈，但再內心一點的感受或近況，卻如陌路人，每次見面，只報喜不報憂。

另一方面，知道好友父親信主，非常感恩，另又為自己的父母家人擔心、焦急，我如何才能將福音帶過給家人？這是我這幾天不停在想的問題。

其實，我周圍都有幾個朋友的家人過身，又正值自己很快離開香港，到澳洲去，心情有點複雜。

讀經表

當要整理行裝的時候，我就想到要為自己未來一年自己的追求和成長計劃一下。所以就很努力的在找讀經表，無意中，找到去年某機構的資料，很齊備。讀經也是我的目標之一，希望可以完成啦！

睇左幾日，仲係好亂，都唔知去哪好，好似都係要到達找慢慢看吧！

今日check email, 終於找到工作了，在一間餐館做waitress，在香港都未試過！

我都無想過自己會在開考前，還在寫BLOG！嘻嘻

不知為何，考最後2科的心情特別緊張，可能是沒有把握吧！所以這幾天心情都很忐忑不安，想應否請假溫書，請半天還是請整天？又好擔心如果不及格的話，會怎樣？

結果：都是請了半天假期，早點回到學校，努力寫好可帶進試場的一張A4紙 (乘機買此平文具)。然後……要好好祈禱。

其實整個過程都幾攪笑，又很感恩，因為剛來的新同事不幹了，本來maggie想我接手她的工作，但又不敢直接下令接手，故此要問我工作習慣嗎？做得開心嗎？我一意識到她的用意，就直接說了我的計劃和方向，到去澳洲流浪九個月……我最初一直很擔心，應該如何開口，因為我總覺得自己好似不太好，太自私，開口總有點為難。但是上帝給了我一個好機會，說了又不會很令人難堪。在這短短的三個月裡，我才發覺對上一份工作對我有很大的影響，另一方面，又讓我從另外一個角度去看工作。原來是的不容易，要學的功課還多呢！

多謝天父，讓我的生命有一點起伏，給我一個精彩的人生，希望去完澳洲之後，又再加多一個精彩片段！

縱然機票好貴，但都是買了 virgin atlantic - premium economy，去程6/29，回程3/16，買了機票，辭職了，好似好多事情都已經落實，但仍然久一個計劃，究竟到了澳洲做什麼呢？開始好多問題浮現！最慘是我還有2科要考試，攪到無心機溫書，好煩！

回顧由決定到要準備出發，好感恩，好順利，沒有太大的反對，反而有很多支持的聲音，但是，在支持中，我都要好小心，因為怕會迷失自己的方向，所以一定要靜下來，想想自己要在這一年做什麼？學什麼功課？對我的信仰又有什麼影響？

好頭痛，要買機票嚕，先要決定買轉機的、還是買直航！相差單是票價：hkd 800，但是後者是premium economy 喎，如果單看直航，票價又不同，因為不同地方訂的價值都有不同，

發夢！反省、異象

由於要去澳洲，所以最近不停地想，去澳洲的目的，若只為自己體驗生活的話，我想，在香港的體驗可能會是另一種味道，不用跑去老遠，放棄一切熟悉的。其實打從一開始，我就想，可否以一個短宣作為我的目的，每遇見一個人，都向他們傳福音，在整個行程中，經歷上帝的同在及保守。

在這一切還沒有思絮之前，我昨天作了一個夢：

我夢見我的媽媽因為意外而突然去逝，我在痛悔自己為何在她生前沒有傳福音給她聽，很傷心的... 然後就扎醒了。由於同一個夢在一晚間發了兩次，所以特別深刻。

醒後，我一整日在思想，自己應如何傳福音給媽媽。又正值教會有佈道會，何不邀請她參加呢？本來想等到她旅行回來才說，但是她打電話回來，我就藉故叫她返教會，但她支吾以對，我心裡很著急，不知家人中，有否多一個人信主？這是我的心願，希望全家人都得救，一齊返教會。我不知這是否神給我的一個異象，好像保羅在異象中領受要傳福音給外邦人一樣。但是我很想盡力去試。

我亦很希望自己在去澳洲之前，更確清自己的方向。

要努力、努力、努力、努力、努力、努力、努力、努力、努力祈禱嚕！！

時間過得好快

不經不覺，又過了半個月了。

好快就要出發 (不過機票仲未買好) 心情好忐忑不安，好擔心！其實自己一向都是這樣，當靜下來的時候，就會想許多事情，令自己好憂慮。

5月分有很多事情要去解決：
1) 辭職：好難開口！今天知道了公司下令要"炒人"的時候，有點兒不知所措，總是覺得很奇怪，雖然好似已經不干我的事了
2) 考試：我應該在忙這件事，但從頭到尾，我都沒有心機溫習。怎麼辦？5/15, 5/17, 5/29 及5/30
3) 去旅行前的準備工夫，所有事情都未準備好
4) 我件毛衣還未弄好呢！
....
要數的話，有很多事情還要記下呢！

最重要的﹕我一定要為自己這個行程定下目標方向，不然，我這趟就白費了！

今日終於和丁牧師說了要去澳洲的事，好難開口，但都是說了，呼~~好似解決了一個難題。

但是，又有很多難題衝著來。原來，這樣的一個改變，便引起了許多的改變。要有很多事情要去想，要更清晰自己的目的、方向。若不去，自己又不甘心，因為這是一個難得的機會，很想生命裡有一點突破；若去，在香港有很多事情要先處理好，所以現在有一點苦惱。要思想的事情蠻多的：感情，個人與上帝的關係，教會生活、和在港的事奉，甚至去的時間，都要仔細想清楚。

唉~~ 我無腦諗啦！要考試，考完先算……如果唔係，就不用去嚕。

背包或是行李箱

正在決定用背包，還是選用行李箱？
好似都是用背包好些，但是在家中東找西找，找到2個古董backpacks，有42L 和45L，原來無再大的，又不想買，唯有用45Ｌ，不帶太多東西吧！

好似有很多東西要買！都是要節衣縮食，省點＄＄
